She made a huge splash on the Coronation Street cobbles in 1997 as the loudmouth matriarch Janice Battersby.And 21 years on ex-Coronation Street star Vicky Entwistle is unrecognisable from her soap days as she showed off her ageless beauty in a recent selfie.The 49-year-old actress took to Twitter to share the snap ahead of her next screen appearance on the Channel 4 drama Ackley Bridge. Vicky's natural complexion was on full display in the snap shared alongside her husband Andrew Chapman, writing in the caption: '18 years/18 mins!!! I love you!!!' The screen star's brown beachy curls were a far cry from the statement blonde bob sported by her character Janice, who she played from 1998 to 2011.Since leaving the soap Vicky has been living a quiet country life with husband Andrew in Lancashire, but has also pursued several stage roles including Madame Thenardier in Les Miserables.Vicky also famously entered the Celebrity Big Brother house with her on-screen soap husband Bruce Jones, who played Les Battersby until his axe from the show in 2007.  Vicky's next role will be in the upcoming second series of the Channel 4 school drama Ackley Bridge, playing Iqbal's secret partner Sandra Turner.But for most fans she is most remembered as the loudmouth Janice, who made an explosive arrival on Coronation Street after arriving with husband Les, their daughter Toyah (Georgia Taylor) and Les' daughter Leanne (Jane Danson), the two latter of which still appear on the show today.Never far from a quick moneymaking scheme, Janice was embroiled in numerous plots throughout her time on the cobbles, including an attempt to steal £25,000 for herself out of an Underworld lottery syndicate. As recently as 2017 Vicky hinted that a return to the soap could be on cards, after tweeting that she was unhappy with the way her on-screen stepdaughter Leanne was being treated by Nick Tilsley.She wrote: 'Think I may have to take you in hand lad,' which led to an onslaught of responses from fans who demanded Janice make her way back to Corrie.One said: 'I think Janice and Les need to make a return!' while another added: 'Would love to see Janice come back and tear a strip off Nick.'

She added a full face of make-up, which included bronzer, lashings of mascara and pink lipstick.The outing comes just days after she was spotted spending time with Emmerdale actor Danny Miller, who plays Aaron Dingle on the ITV soap, at the BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday night.Georgia looked close with the 27-year-old at the Mondrian Hotel bar - and even borrowed his jacket while she waited for a taxi.
